About Your Instructor

Max McKeown, Horticulture Manager at Huntsville Botanical Garden, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in Horticulture Landscape and Turf Science. He then went on to earn his Master’s of Horticulture from Louisiana State University. Max has worked in public gardens for 8 years and brings an extensive plant palette, excellent design skills, and a scientific approach to horticulture.
