Greenbrier Preserve housing community now under construction in Limestone County

Construction began this week on Greenbrier Preserve, a 400-acre housing development located between Greenbrier and Mooresville.

The West Huntsville community will include more than 1,000 homes with varying floor plans.

The new housing community is convenient to the Toyota plant, Buffalo Rock, Amazon and other businesses with large workforces.

Here are some more features:

  • Homes will range in price from the $300s to the $900s
  • Floor plans range from 1,200 to 4,000 square feet
  • 35-acre common area
  • 10-acre lake
  • Clubhouse and resort-style pool
  • Access to hiking, fishing and outdoor activities
  • Borders Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge.

DR Horton is the homebuilder, and while a completion date has not been announced, lots have been approved for development by the Huntsville Planning Commission.
