“Groundhog Dog” calls for early spring in Huntsville
Reading time: 2 minutes
Cosmo the “Groundhog Dog” predicted an early spring at the City of Huntsville’s third annual “Ground Dog Day.”
He was presented with two bowls of chow. One was labeled “early spring” and the other “more winter,” but Comso easily pulled towards early spring.
How did Cosmo’s prediction compare to other Groundhog Day animals?
Both Punxsutawney Phil and Sand Mountain Sam predicted early springs like Comso.
This month’s weather could go either way in terms of spring highs or winter lows, according to more experienced human forecasters.
