This week, we have seven new businesses in the Huntsville area to tell you about, and (unfortunately) one closing in the area. From a new soda spot to a new bank branch, we have some cool new additions to the business community.

1. FirstBank

  • What: The past year has included multiple new bank branch openings in the Huntsville area. This new FirstBank branch on Franklin in Huntsville officially opened June 24.

2. Century Automotive Collision Center

  • What: While Century Automotive is certainly not one of the “new” businesses here in Huntsville, its new collision center is, opening last week on Jordan Lane.

With new businesses comes one closing

Although we are excited to announce new businesses opening in the area, every now and then we do have to announce a closing (luckily, the openings outnumber the closings).

Snickerpoodles, the consignment shop on Whitesburg Drive, is closing this month, but is currently holding a 50% off sale to clear inventory.
