Dragon Alley

Dragon Alley sells authentic Asian street food and cocktails—and in my personal opinion, is the coolest looking place to open in Huntsville this year. Stepping inside truly feels like you’re teleported onto the other side of the world.

“Dragon Alley is such a fun vibe, with delectable dishes to boot! I love how it feels like you’ve transported to a Japanese street market. Such a win for Huntsville 🙌

Southside Cocktail Club

A favorite among our staff, Southside Cocktail Club is a vintage-inspired bar that features a menu of snacks, cocktails, salads and sandwiches.

“Southside is my fav nighttime spot in HSV. Do NOT forget to get the Southside Cookie (medium rare of course) — the best cookie you’ll ever have in your entire life, served with a side of ice-cold Earl Grey oatmilk. DELISH!”

IKEA

IKEA had Huntsville buzzing when it was announced they were bringing their signature Scandinavian furniture and home goods to North Alabama. If you’ve never shopped there, they are known for selling affordable, ready-to-assemble furniture (that is somewhat notoriously challenging to put together).

“I was so excited when I heard we were getting an IKEA. Gone are the days of my college furniture! Hello, IKEA everything 👋”

This NYC-inspired boutique offers curated signature collections for ladies ages 25+. If you want to modernize your look while keeping it sleek and stylish, you should check this shop out!

“Ferren Boutique is the perfect spot for the fashionista in your life. The owner herself is from NYC, and brings a taste of the Big Apple to her curated finds.”

Have you checked out this new bar? (Mallory Kimbrell / Hville Blast)

Goodbye Horses is an eclectic café and bar hideaway serving a menu of cocktails, coffee and small plates. This place was very low-key when opening, which built a lot of anticipation from the community. We got to try it out and absolutely loved it.

“I absolutely love the cozy vibes in Goodbye Horses. Wood-paneled walls + yummy eats are my love language.”

Perseus Vinyl Bar is another spot we absolutely love here at Hville Blast, and can be summed up by three words listed on their website: “Coffee. Cocktails. Vinyl.” Give the spot a try if you haven’t already!

“Perseus Vinyl Bar—even though I haven’t been yet, I’m stoked that we finally have a vinyl bar in Huntsville!”
