Here’s your guide to celebrating Women in Music Week in the Rocket City

Huntsville Music Month is in full swing, and as part of the month-long celebration, next week is the annual Women in Music Week.
The celebration runs September 12-21 with a diverse lineup showcasing the creative talents of more than 50 women in the music industry at stages citywide.
About the 7th Annual Women in Music Week
The week kicks off Friday, Sept. 12, with the Love Jones WIMW Kickoff Showcase at The Electric Belle featuring Carvena with Alisha, Canderiah and Zami Mare.
WIMW Executive Producer Alli Johnson of Artemis Productions said WIMW is a testament to what’s possible when female creatives “are given space to shine.”
“The collaboration with the Huntsville Music Office has significantly expanded the event’s scope, transforming it from a weekend celebration into a week-long extravaganza. This expansion has enabled us to amplify our reach and showcase an even greater lineup of artists.”
