Nighttime resurfacing of US-431 in Albertville will begin the evening of Sunday, June 14.

The Alabama Department of Transportation announced that a resurfacing project on US-431 in Albertville will begin this weekend. Weather permitting, ALDOT will begin nighttime resurfacing of four miles of US-431 on Sunday evening.

The $3 million project involves milling and paving the divided four-lane highway from south of SR-75 at Miller Street to Brashers Chapel Road.

  • Single lane closures: 6PM-6AM Sunday nights through Thursday nights
  • 🗓️ Expected completion: late summer or early fall according to ALDOT
  • 🚗 What it means for motorists: Traffic delays should be expected in the evenings along that stretch until the project’s completion

A subcontractor will install signs for the project next week.
