NEW: Huntsville airport to offer non-stop flights to Gulf Shores
Reading time: 2 minutes

Huntsville International Airport announced this week that Allegiant Air will debut Alabama’s only intra-state commercial nonstop route, from HSV to Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF).
The flights will be available in the spring.
Fly non-stop from HSV to GUF

The new flights to Gulf Shores are available just in time for beach season, and add to Allegiant’s roster of non-stop beach destinations from HSV:
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida via Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning November 19.
- St. Petersburg, Florida via St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) beginning March 5.
- Sanford, Florida via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) beginning February 12.
- Gulf Shores, Alabama via Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF) beginning May 21.
“People have asked for a Gulf Shores flight for years, and we are thrilled about having the only intra-state, nonstop commercial service between two Alabama cities. You’ll spend more time on the beach instead of stuck on the road. Now, you don’t have to worry about I-65 traffic – you can just enjoy the trip.”
Butch Roberts, CEO, Huntsville International Airport
Tickets for all newly-announced routes are now available. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found at Allegiant.com.
