The Huntsville area plays host to a variety of cool arts events, from dance to theater to classical music. This fall, we have several of these events happening in and around town, and we want to tell you about them!

Back to the Future: The Musical @ Mark C. Smith Concert Hall

- What: This show is adapted for the stage by the iconic film’s creators Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, and directed by the Tony Award winner John Rando.

Fantasy Playhouse presents ‘Cinderella’ @ On the Boulevard

- What: The beloved fairy tale first lady is back with a fresh world premiere retelling–a joyful kickoff to Fantasy Playhouse’s 65th Season On the Boulevard

Huntsville Symphony Orchestra presents ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ @ Mark C. Smith Concert Hall

- What: Composer Francis Poulenc has been characterized as half monk, half “bad boy,” and the two worlds collide in his colorful setting of the “Gloria,” performed with the Huntsville Community Chorus and Huntsville-based soprano Kristine Biller.

‘Churchill’ @ Mars Music Hall

- What: In this often funny, sometimes touching and always engaging one-man-show, veteran British actor David Payne brings Churchill to life onstage.

Huntsville Ballet presents ‘The Shape of a Promise‘/’Beneath the October Moon‘ @ Dream Theatre

- What: Huntsville Ballet Company opens its 2025-2026 season with two world premieres— Ashley Dolloff’s “The Shape of a Promise” and Gina Guerrera’s “Beneath the October Moon,” followed by a Q&A with the dancers and director.

- What: Just in time for Halloween, you’ll experience this chilling classic film with new eyes and ears as the orchestra performs the score live in sync with the big screen.

Theatre Huntsville presents ‘The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley’ @ VBC Playhouse
- What: Step back into the world of Jane Austen this holiday season and join Theatre Huntsville for the 2nd play in the “Christmas at Pemberley” trilogy.
