For the first time in the team’s short existence, Huntsville City FC is headed to the MLS NEXT playoffs. The HCFC win against Orlando over the weekend clinched a spot in the postseason, keeping the team’s season alive.

Sunday night’s game against Orlando was a must-win for HCFC in order to secure a spot in the postseason, and the game certainly didn’t lack drama.
The match remained deadlocked until the 75th minute, when Maximus Ekk scored his first-ever goal for Huntsville City FC. The strike not only clinched the playoff spot for the team but also earned Ekk Man of the Match honors.
With the playoffs now officially secured, Huntsville City FC returns home this Sunday, aiming to carry the momentum into their next match against Inter Miami II at 7PM.
