Huntsville defense firm awarded $992M Air Force contract

Huntsville-based defense contractor Torch Technologies was awarded a $992 million contact from the U.S. Department of War.

The contract is a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for technical and management advisory services and provides support for aerospace research, development, test and evaluation activities.

Work to be performed at Eglin Air Force Base

According to a report from the Department of War, work will be performed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, with support from geographically separate locations

The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2031.
