It’s about to get really cold in Huntsville

The next few nights in Huntsville area going to be cold. According to the National Weather Service, expect low temperatures to be in the low 20s and 30s until the weekend. Don’t forget that the winter solstice–aka the darkest day of the year–will also happen this Thursday night, Dec. 21.
How to take cold weather precautions
Prepare for cold weather by bringing in any pets or plants that may be outside. Protect your pipes by letting indoor faucets drip and covering outdoor faucets that connect to a hose. Make sure to bundle up if heading outside.
