While we are reverting back to some colder weather, let’s not forget that spring in less than a month away, and that means hummingbird season is almost here in North Alabama.

According to Alabama Audubon, the migration typically starts in early March for the coastal areas and will often show up across the state by the beginning of April.

Hummingbird Central, a website dedicated to tracking sightings of the birds throughout each season, has already registered some hummingbirds in Florida and Louisiana.
