The popular game show “Let’s Make a Deal” originally aired in the United States in 1963 and has since been produced in countries throughout the world.

For those who are unfamiliar with the show, the premise involves members of the studio audience, referred to as “traders” and often dressed in outlandish costumes, making deals with the host.

In most cases, a trader will be offered something of value and given a choice of whether to keep it or exchange it for a different item. The catch is that the other item is hidden from the trader until that choice is made. So in essence, a trader may end up trading a brand new motorcycle for a can of creamed corn.

The show was hosted by its co-creator, Monty Hall, for nearly 30 years. The current host, comedian Wayne Brady, has hosted the show since 2009.
