A successful first session
This fall session is the second edition of the program, which was launched in February of this year. The first class of the academy had rave reviews of the program.
Mayor Paul Finley refers to the program as “an opportunity to educate Madison’s citizens and allow them to make informed decisions on their community.”
Graduates of the Spring 2024 class have said they enjoyed the program.
“There are so many aspects of the city that if you’re just sitting home being complacent you would not have known about. The best thing to do is to get out and come up here and find out what’s going on.”
Stacy Tidwell, graduate of the Spring 2024 class
