‘Masked Singer’ tour is coming to Huntsville’s Von Braun Center
Next month, Huntsville will be visted by one of the country’s most popular reality shows, “The Masked Singer,” as the show’s tour makes a stop at the Von Braun Center July 7.
The show will feature celebrity guest hosts from the TV show, as well as one local celebrity in a top-secret disguise.
What to expect from ‘The Masked Singer’ live show
For those who aren’t familiar with the premise of the TV show, “The Masked Singer” premiered on the Fox network in 2019 and has grown in popularity over the last three years.
The show originated in South Korea, and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. In a typical episode, four to six contestants — dressed in cosumes — each sing a 90-second cover song for the panelists and audience. Hints to their identities—known as the “clue package”—are given before and occasionally after each performs.
The live version coming to Huntsville July 7 will feature fan-favorite masked characters from the TV show live on stage in a production of song, dance and fun entertainment.
The local celebrity element of the performance involves the audience attempting to decipher the clues to guess the person’s identity until the local celebrity is unmasked at the end of the night.
How to attend
The Huntsville performance will begin at 7:30PM July 7 at the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center. Tickets for the tour are on sale now at TheMaskedSingerTour.com.
