New apartment project among million-dollar-plus building permits issued in Huntsville

Apartment complexes in the Huntsville area are springing up like wildflowers these days, and another apartment project — to the tune of more than $18 million — was recently approved, along with eight other million-dollar-plus projects throughout the state this week.

New apartments in Huntsville

Northeast FivePoints Study Boundary — New building permits issued this week include some apartments in Northeast Huntsville. (City of Huntsville)

Doug Hollyhand Realty Inc. out of Tuscaloosa County is the developer listed for the three million-dollar-plus- building permits (totaling more than $18 million) for apartments in Northeast Huntsville.

The addresses for the permits are for 1900 Old Nursery Road. David Sumrall is listed as the owner of the project.
