Food Bank of North Alabama

The Food Bank of North Alabama supports 11 counties across North Alabama by supplying 15 million pounds of food every year to a network of over 230 food pantries, shelters and children’s programs.

Manna House

Manna House provides provision of food for individuals and families three nights a week.
Want to volunteer? Volunteers are needed Monday, Wednesday + Thursday 1-6:30PM for food distribution. On Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30PM volunteers can help pack P.E.R.K.S. (Personal Emergency Resources
for Kids in School) snack packs for students to take home on weekends.
In need of assistance? Distribution is held every week.

House of the Harvest
Opening their physical location in November 2015, House of Harvest has distributed food and served breakfast every Saturday at their location on Wall Triana.
Every Saturday morning, local residents are welcome to eat a hot breakfast in their dining area + wait in the distribution line without reservation or proof of income.

The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen

Rose of Sharon’s goal is to bridge gaps in social and human services in addition to providing their meals. Their services include:
- Hot showers in collaboration with ShowerUp
- Mail service for those without an address
- Access to their in-house phone
- Ready-made meals, grocery boxes to take home + a pantry
- Essential pet supplies
- Individualized hygiene kits
- Emergency shelter placement
- Rehabilitation support

Huntsville Helping Hands is a non-profit focused on serving the immigrant community of North Alabama, with their messaging in Spanish.
They host food banks once a month. Reservations can be made through messaging their Facebook page.
Spots have not yet filled up for their next distribution on November 1, 2025.
