New Bank Independent branch opens in South Huntsville

Bank Independent is increasing its footprint in Huntsville, as the Sheffield-based bank opened a new branch in South Huntsville this week.

The new branch, located at 9010 Memorial Parkway South, is the bank’s fourth branch in Huntsville and the sixth in Madison County.

Here are some quick facts about the new branch:

• The new office, located at 9010 Memorial Parkway SW, marks the fourth Bank Independent location in Huntsville and the sixth in Madison County.
• Crystal Green will serve as the sales officer for the branch, while Jill Waltress will serve as the sales manager.
• The bank now employs more than 60 people in Madison County.
• Expansion in Madison County includes the five-story office building at 225 Holmes Ave in early 2023, the Hampton Cove office in the summer of 2023, and the recent opening of the West Madison office in 2024.

The ribbon-cutting this week comes as the bank celebrates 10 years in Madison County.
