5 new businesses you need to know about in the Rocket City

This past week we saw a bevy of new businesses open or announce they are opening in the Huntsville area. From a new pizza place in Lowe Mill to a piano bar downtown, there are a bunch of new members of the business community in the Rocket City.
Take a look at these new neighbors:
1. Veloce Pizza
Veloce Pizza in Lowe Mill had a soft opening July 1, but started serving up pizzas last week for real. Owner Trevar Akins said this new restaurant is a dream come true for him. Needless to say, this is one of the new businesses in the area folks are really buzzing about.
“It’s really the fulfillment of a promise I made to myself, when I moved back here from California, to be a part of what makes Huntsville a unique and great place to be.”

2. Cookie Fix – Clift Farm
Anyone who has tried the deliciousness that is Cookie Fix at Twickenham Square knows that this place is a scrumptious addition to any community. Well, the Birmingham-based cookie spot announced they will soon be one of the new businesses calling Madison County home, as they will open a new location in Clift Farm in Madison!

3. The Library
Perveyor, a favorite among the Downtown Huntsville businesses, announced this past week the opening of The Library, a piano bar expected to open in the next few weeks! New businesses in the downtown area usually come with significant fanfare, and this one is no exception.

4. Lost Pizza Co.
Folks in Florence already know how awesome Lost Pizza Co. is, as that location has thrived and been a staple in the restaurant scene in North Alabama. The Mississippi-based pizza chain announced last week it is opening a location in Madison in the shopping center across from City Hall.

5. Windsor
A new clothing store is coming to Huntsville’s Parkway Place Mall. Windsor, which also has Alabama locations in Hoover and Leeds, has not announced a specific opening date.
