New career center opens at Athens State

A new career center opened last week at Athens State University, part of Workforce Alabama’s initiative to find career opportunities for Alabamians.
The new center is located on the Athens State campus at Chasteen Hall.
About the Athens Career Center
The Career Center will be operated by the Workforce Pathways Division of the Alabama Department of Workforce and will offer a full range of services to both jobseekers and employers, including:
- Resume assistance
- Job placement services
- Educational and vocational training assistance
- Employee pre-screening
