The new Bridge Street store marks L.L.Bean’s entry into Alabama as the brand continues expanding its retail footprint across the United States.
The Huntsville location brings L.L.Bean “closer to customers across North Alabama, giving them the opportunity to shop their favorite products in person while exploring the brand’s assortment of four-season outdoor apparel and footwear,” according to an official statement from the retailer.
The excitement surrounding the opening goes beyond just being able to shop at the store. At 8:45AM April 3, L.L.Bean will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with brand representatives and local partners.
This celebration includes:
- The first 100 customers will receive a $50 L.L.Bean gift card, with line-up beginning at 6AM
- L.L.Bean will make a $10,000 contribution to the Heart of the Valley YMCA to support summer camp access for underserved youth.
- Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee from Gold Sprint Coffee and Maine-inspired bites from A Taste of Maine food truck, including free lobster bisque for the first 1,000 guests.
- Free Boat and Tote monogramming, product customization and photos with the iconic L.L.Bean Bootmobile
- Participants can enter to win product giveaways, including a Grand Prize Ultimate Beach Day Giveaway, plus additional hands-on activities throughout the weekend.
- Free chain-link embroidery and iron-on patches from Huntsville maker Piles of Threads, available while supplies last
