New pOpshelf location to open in Huntsville March 11
The Huntsville area is about to get a third pOpshelf location. We’ve got everything you need to know about the new Dollar General concept that should make your shopping experience more fun.
What is pOpshelf?
pOpshelf, a new concept from Dollar General, is a spot where you can buy products from grocery items to home decor and more. You’ve probably seen several of the stores popping up around the Southeast, including many in the Nashville and Birmingham areas—that’s because Dollar General is looking to open 1,000 pOpshelf stores by the end of 2025.

pOpshelf will carry many products from brands you know and love, like:

- Mrs. Meyer’s
- Tide
- Vaseline

The store’s goal, as stated on their website, is to make shopping a joyful experience with “fun in every find” and a “surprise on every shelf.”

The new store
The new pOpshelf location, slated to open Friday, March 11, will be just west of the MidCity District. Here’s where to find it:

Hours aren’t listed yet, but the two Madison locations are open 9AM-9PM every day.
