New supply drive hosted by CAFY for back to school

Community Awareness for Youth (CAFY) is partnering with Huntsville Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to host a back-to-school supply drive for students ages 12-18.

Who’s partnering for this supply drive?
CAFY and the Huntsville ODEI are partnering with Calhoun Community College, Huntsville City Schools, Refuge Church, One Generation Away and Huntsville Parks & Recreation for this event. The supply drive will take place on Saturday, July 13 from 9AM-12PM at Calhoun’s Huntsville campus.
In addition to school supplies, Refuge Church and One Generation Away will be conducting drive-thru grocery pickups for families while supplies last.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for families and students to receive much-needed food and school supplies before the new school year begins. The CAFY event is a fantastic way to start the year off right, with a mix of essential support and some fun thrown in for good measure.”

This event will also have inflatables and music for families to enjoy as well as informational resource exhibits.

Stuff the Bus events
Before the main event, CAFY is putting on Stuff the Bus events for donors to contribute to the supply drive.
