We are approaching Memorial Day, and with a long weekend ahead — set aside to honor those who lost their lives while serving our country — many businesses and services will be closed or delayed this coming Monday.

Here’s a quick list of what’s open and what’s closed Monday in the Rocket City:

  • Federal Offices – Closed
  • State Offices – Closed
  • Municipal Offices – Closed
  • U.S. Post Office – Closed. Mail will not run Monday, but will resume Tuesday
  • Banks – Closed
  • Huntsville Museum of Art – Closed
  • Madison County Courthouse – Closed
  • Madison County Public Libraries – Closed
  • Madison County Senior Centers – Closed
  • Early Works Museums – Closed
  • Costco stores – Closed
  • UPS — Closed
  • FedEx — Closed
  • Monday trash pickup in Huntsville Will resume Tuesday
