Now open: Dutch Bros Coffee in Decatur

Dutch Bros Coffee opened their first location in Alabama today along with several other businesses new to the Huntsville area. Beltline Road in Decatur is now home to the first Alabama Dutch Bros, but the popular chain from Oregon has three more Huntsville area locations scheduled to open this fall.
Here’s what we know:
The first Dutch Bros Coffee in Alabama
The Decatur location is the first Dutch Bros Coffee in Alabama. Their Regional Operator of Huntsville West, Nate Gavin, said their first guest traveled from east of Birmingham to celebrate their grand opening.
Gavin wants Dutch Bros to be a positive force in the community and said the Decatur location is already involved with the local Boys and Girls Club and local food banks.
“Community is really big to us. We want not just to make drinks. We want to make an impact in our community.”

Interested in trying Dutch Bros? All medium drinks will be $1 this Thursday, Aug. 31 at their Decatur location.

What’s on the menu?
Dutch Bros signature drinks aren’t only limited to traditional coffees. Their menu also includes:
- Smoothies
- Freezes
- Teas
- The Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink
- Nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee
Their most popular item is the Golden Eagle, a vanilla and caramel breve and topped with a caramel drizzle.
Three other locations coming to Huntsville this fall
The Dutch Bros team hopes its three Huntsville locations will be ready to open this November but make sure to stick with Hville Blast for official opening dates.
