All dog owners know the struggle of wanting to bring your pup with you but running into problems when you have to leave them to grab a drink or some food.
At Rocket City Dog Bar, you can drop your dog off in the outdoor play area, which is monitored by trained dog supervisors. They will ensure the dogs get along well while you grab a beer from the taproom.
The outdoor play area is huge and so much fun, showcasing turf, “oops” stations, heaters and tables.

Inside, you can find the taproom—the former home of Salty Nut, which closed earlier this year. Here, you can sip on your favorite local craft brews and enjoy the fun dog-themed decor.
Win Keller, one of the owners of Rocket City Dog Bar, is excited to bring new life to the taproom.
“We have many memories in this taproom, so it’s really special to be able to utilize the space for our unique dream and vision.”

If you’re ready for Huntsville to add more indoor dog spaces, you’re in luck. Rocket City Dog Bar is currently converting the warehouse into a hang space, where dogs will be allowed indoors.
The warehouse will be heated during the colder months and cooled by a fan ventilation system during the summer.
We are so excited to bring a safe dog space to Huntsville. You can rest easy bringing your dog to Rocket City Dog Bar. Our staff is well trained, and all the dogs are healthy and vaccinated.”
