The folks in Madison already know about PJ’s Coffee, as the coffee chain opened a location on Brown’s Ferry Road last summer, but Huntsvillians will soon be able to enjoy the New Orleans-style coffee shop at the company’s new location opening soon.
Here’s what to know about PJ’s Coffee:
The new Huntsville Location
According to the company’s newsletter, the new location in Huntsville will be downtown at 133 Holmes Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801. The announcement did not specify an exact date for opening , but said “Coming Soon.”
Let’s hope “soon” means REALLY soon.
PJ’s expanding in Alabama
The Madison location, which opened in July of last year was the first North Alabama location for New Orleans-based PJ’s, but the plan by the company is to have several more locations in the Huntsville area.
According to the company’s website, they plan to open eight to 10 locations in Birmingham, eight to 10 locations in Montgomery and Mobile, up to nine locations in Huntsville and three to five locations in Tuscaloosa.
With unique beverage and food options, you’re bound to find something you like, such as:
- King Cake Latte: For this drink, think Espresso Dolce and cinnamon.
- White Chocolate Latte: This one is a fan-fave because of the rich Ghirardelli® white chocolate used.
- Beignets: A billowy fried dough that’s a staple to NOLA foodies.
