Since August of 2021 when the Elizabeth Carpenter Public Library closed, New Hope has been without a public library in town. The opening of the New Hope Public Library this week not only brings the resources of the former library back to the town, but adds some more resources at the new location:
- 3D Printer
- Black & White Photocopier
- Black & White Printer
- Fax Services
- FOL Bookstore
- Free Parking
- Free Wi-Fi
- Public Computers
- Scan Services
The new library in New Hope also includes access to a shared community room that offers additional space for children’s story times and more.
“The New Hope Public Library will meet the demand for library services that have been greatly missed in the community. We’re proud that we were able to create a warm and inviting environment while retaining many of the qualities of the old Library because they were so important and unique to the community.”
Cindy Hewitt, executive director of the HMCPL system
