Redstone Gateway office building among new high-dollar building permits

This past week, 14 new building permits were issued statewide for construction projects exceeding $1 million. Of those, two projects are in the Huntsville area.

Here’s what we know:

The office buildings at Redstone Gateway include more than 2 million square feet of office space, and have been tremendously successful in regard to demand for these spaces.

This past week, a $3.3 million building permits was issued at 8100 Rideout Road. Brasfield & Gorrie is listed as the lead contractor.

“COPT Defense Properties’ portfolio at Redstone Gateway in Huntsville consists of 2.5 million square feet, which was over 95% leased at year-end.
