Huntsville’s restaurant scene has greatly improved over the past few years and only continues to grow. However, you shouldn’t forget about these restaurants in Harvest, all of which have been mainstays in the local community.

For those in Harvest, you’ve probably heard of or tried these restaurants. If you live in the city and need a new eating option, consider checking these places out:

1. Mi Casa

My family and I have eaten at Mi Casa for as long as I can remember, and we all agree it’s one of the best restaurants in Harvest and the entire Huntsville area.

My go-to meal at Mi Casa is their Pollo Ranchero, a chicken entree that is always tender, covered in a ranchero sauce bursting with rich flavor, and balances nicely with Mexican rice and beans. Also, the excellent staff at Mi Casa appreciates their regular customers and always has food out efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience.

With an expansive menu that includes many classic Mexican restaurant dishes, each has its own unique spin that makes Mi Casa an eating experience you don’t want to miss.

While Mediterranean food has never been my favorite, my experiences at 5A’s Restaurant have always been positive. It’s the first place where I tried lamb and enjoyed it! Additionally, 5A’s has often made the Health Score Honor Roll, ensuring a clean dining experience.

With a menu that includes Greek classics, vegetarian options, and even a kids menu for picky eaters, this Harvest destination has something for everyone and may introduce a new favorite to your palate.

Shababy’s Rib Shack is one of the tastiest restaurants in Harvest with a menu that encompasses all Southern comfort food. Whether you’re in the mood for pulled pork or ribs for a classic barbecue night, wings on game day, or even need breakfast on your way to work, Shababy’s is an excellent choice for you.

As soon as you pull into their parking lot, you’ll most likely be invited in by the delectable smell of barbecue on the grill. Their classic Southern decor only adds to the experience, making Shababy’s one of my favorite restaurants in Harvest.
