Rheumatology Associates facility one of 8 new North Alabama building permits

Of the 17 new building permits issued this week statewide for construction projects exceeding $1 million, eight are for projects in North Alabama.

One of those eight projects is a new Rheumatology Associates of North Alabama facility off Whitesburg Drive. The new facility will be complete in the winter of 2024.

The new Rheumatology Associates of North Alabama facility in Huntsville is a $10 million project led by Robins & Morton. Here are few details on the project:

The facility is located in Bellewood Park off Whitesburg Dr.
The single-story medical office building will be 20,500 square feet and will sit on 2.1 acres.
The practice will have 24 exam rooms, four nurse stations, a lab, infusion room, X-ray room and numerous offices.
Chapman Sisson is serving as the architect.

The project is scheduled for completion in winter of 2024.
