Rivertree Church expansion among new M+ building permits in Huntsville
Rivertree Church is expanding one of its Huntsville campuses with a $13 million project. (Chapman Sisson)

This past week, 18 new building permits were issued across the state for construction projects exceeding $1 million. These permits included projects in the Auburn, Huntsville and Birmingham metro areas.

The priciest of these permits is for a major project at Rivertree Church in Huntsville, where the church’s campus in Hampton Cove is undergoing an expansion, part of the church’s “Making Room” campaign to address its growing congregation.

This $13 million permit includes construction of a new worship center and dedicated children’s ministry space at the Cove campus.

Lee Builders, Inc. is the lead contractor on this project.
