Rolling bites: our food truck recommendations in Huntsville

Let’s be real—some of the best food in town isn’t coming from a kitchen with four walls. It’s rolling through the streets.

There are many food trucks in Huntsville, but these are our recs.

Curbside Cravings

These trucks are some of my favorite places I’ve been to.

Nacho’s Mexican Food Truck: This spot has some of the best birria tacos in Huntsville. I love the atmosphere—just sitting by the truck, good music playing and great food.

Celia’s Kitchen – Mexican Food Truck: Quesadillas are one of my go-to comfort foods, and they seriously know how to make a good one. My friends and I love stopping by between classes—quick, fresh and it always hits the spot.

Catrinas Mexican Food Truck: The carne asada takes me back to family cookouts—so good. Make sure to pair it with the pineapple agua fresca; it’s the perfect combo. This place is conveniently located near Providence, off University Drive.

Taste of Maine Lobster Shack & Food Truck: I’ve never been to Maine, but I feel like I’ve gotten a taste of it. The rolls, melt and everything in between are excellent. Plus, all of their seafood is imported straight from Maine.

Beast Mode: This spot is known for their juicy burgers. My recommendation is The Cuban.

Nica’s Grille: They have delicious loaded fries and quesadillas, and our team likes to grab them as a snack before concerts at the Orion.

Downtown Food Truck Rallies

Love food trucks? You’re in luck. Downtown Huntsville’s Food Truck Rallies are back in May! Each month, a new lineup of food trucks rolls into Big Spring Park, serving yummy bites.

Make sure to grab your friends, pack a blanket or lawn chair and head to the park for an evening full of delicious eats, live music and all kinds of fun.
