Burritt on the Mountain

One of Huntsville’s most encapsulating views of the skyline sits at Burritt on the Mountain, located on Monte Sano Mountain. Every Wednesday, Burritt hosts a free “Cocktails at the View” event from 5PM-8PM, perfect for a nice night with a stunning sunset view.

City View at Blevins Gap Nature Preserve

This beloved Huntsville spot has a spectacular view of the city. Blevins Gap features a breathtaking overlook as well as a beautiful garden to admire as the sun sets. It tends to get pretty crowded on summer nights around sunset, so make sure to get there early to grab a good spot.

Baker & Able

Located on the roof of the 106 Jefferson hotel, this spot provides viewers with a unique overlook of the skyline directly from the heart of Huntsville. This adorable monkey-themed bar provides high-end cocktails, good music and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for an urban view of the sunset.

Although it may sound silly to include a parking garage in this list, the Clinton Ave parking garage has a stunning 360° view of downtown Huntsville. Parking is typically $2 a vehicle, but for this view and a parking spot within walking distance of any bar, restaurant or business downtown, it is definitely worth it.

The Observatory Bar

Ditto Landing

Ditto Landing is one of the most iconic spots on the water within Huntsville city limits. There are multiple spots to park that require a small walk to reach the water, but the stunning view of the sunset cannot be beat.
