Located about 20 minutes outside of Huntsville, you’ll find a farm well-known to locals—Tate Farms.

But this farm isn’t just about agriculture. It’s also about “agritainment.” This season, they’ve a new way to enjoy the farm with Tate’s Table.

Tate’s Table

This year, Tate Farms is opening up their table and inviting you, your family and your friends to join them. It’s going to be Southern fare at it’s finest—two meats, homemade bread, four or more sides and desserts, all homemade and served on a lazy Susan.

Each Friday at noon from September 23 to October 28, Tate’s Table will be serving up a different menu. Plus, they just opened up supper reservations on each of the same Fridays at 6:30PM—because everyone is wanting a spot at the table!

Reservations are almost sold out, so head over to their website to check availability and snag a spot.

But there’s plenty more fun waiting! All the classic attractions will be in full-swing again this year as a part of their Family Fun Fall Festival. Some of our favorites include:

  • Pumpkin picking—what Tate Farms is most famous for!
  • Hay rides
  • Corn cribs
  • Barnyard animals
  • Not-your-average playground
  • Concessions
  • Country stores (yes, there’s two)

And of course, the photo ops are endless!

General Admission is $15 a person, age 2 and up. Or, grab a season pass for $40 per person, age 2 and up.

Pumpkin Destruction Day 2022

Every Tate Farms day is special—but there’s one day that’s even more so. It’s Pumpkin Destruction Day, happening on October 29 this year.

There will be monster trucks, pumpkin cannons, hot air balloon pumpkin drop, pumpkin sports, and more pumpkin-related activities. Who knew there are so many ways to smash a pumpkin?

And make sure to stay for the fireworks show at the end of it all! Tickets for Pumpkin Destruction Day are $25 per person age 2 and up.

Tate Farms is also a stellar spot for events and groups! They offer private area rentals, corporate events, and school tours (available for homeschool groups as well!).

Ready for all the fun? We sure are—September 28 can’t come soon enough!
