According to CNN Travel, Dubai chocolate took off after social media influencer Maria Vehera posted a TikTok enjoying a bar from Fix Dessert Chocolatier located in—you guessed it—Dubai, UAE. The company is credited for inventing the treat, which consists of a chocolate bar filled with creamy pistachio-kataifi cream.

The basic ingredients are:

With high demand and ingredients that can be tricky to find at times, she and her husband have even made the trek to Tennessee to stay stocked.

2. Cutes and Cakes @ Stovehouse
Cutes and Cakes owner Sharon Gray has offered Dubai strawberry dessert dishes on two occasions over the past two weeks to rave reviews.
She says she offers them only in limited batches for now because she makes the pistachio sauce herself. Keep an eye on the Cutes and Cakes Instagram for drops!

3. Sweet Bites Bake Shoppe in New Hope




This little bakery opened next to Piggly Wiggly in New Hope not quite two years ago and already has won several customer-voted awards and a loyal fan base. Owner Sabrina Floyd says she started offering Dubai strawberry cups two weeks ago, and they were an instant hit.
They have sold out 50+ cups in a few hours on both occasions, and people have driven over half an hour to get there and line up before opening, she says.

Among the spots on this list, Mel’s Sweet Treats in Decatur was the first to try the trend and offer it to customers back in January. People have been lining up down the block ever since.
