The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team has received an overhauled look heading into the 2026-27 season.
According to Scott Fields, the Associate Athletic Director for Athletics Marketing and Communications at UAH, the design process began in April of 2026 and was a collaborative effort between both the coaching staff and BSN Sports, who provides athletics equipment to the school.

Take a look at UAH’s new basketball uniforms

The men’s basketball coaches believe that these uniforms better implement UAH’s branding and will build excitement around the program.
“…We wanted something with a little more pop and something people would notice and be excited about with our new logos and the growth of our team.”
Mick Hedgepeth, UAH men’s basketball coach
The school also adopted a new athletics logo in July of 2025 and gave its mascot, Charger Blue, a new look earlier this month. These changes show a wider effort from UAH on increasing brand awareness and getting the student body excited about school sports.
