ALDOT road closure tips
- Be aware: Avoid all distractions and remain completely focused on the road while driving. Traffic and road conditions can be unpredictable, so make sure to keep your eyes and mind on the road.
- Observe Speed Limits: Always be aware of how fast you are going, as construction often means a sudden decrease in speed limit. Construction zones=higher fines.
- Prepare for lane closures before the drive: Knowing when and where to expect a speed decrease or lane closure can make the world of difference on your drive. Make sure to come prepared.
