Viet House, El Vaquero, Boarhog’s BBQ receive health scores of 95+

Several Madison County restaurants, including Boarhogs BBQ on Hwy 72, Viet House on Airport Road and El Vaquero on Memorial Parkway received a health score of 95 or above by the Madison County Health Department in April.

As a public service, Hville Blast will report monthly Madison County Health Department restaurant scores, featuring those eateries that scored a 95 or better on their inspection. In April 2022, more than 100 local establishments that handle and serve food were inspected by the health department, including restaurants, schools, nursing homes, daycare centers, hospitals, grocery stores and concession stands.

Here is who made the honor roll in April 2022…

Viet House – 95

Viet House, located at 975 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, AL 35802, offers an extensive menu with dishes made ​​from professional Vietnamese chefs with unique recipes.

Boarhog’s BBQ – 96

Boarhog’s BBQ is located at 2118 Hwy 72 E, Huntsville, AL 35811. They serve authentic Southern barbecue with all of the trimmings and sides, and if you’re in the military or you’re a first responder, bring your ID when you stop in for 10% off your tab.

El Vaquero – 95

Located at 10020 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL, 35803, El Vaquero offers a wide array of fresh food – chicken quesadillas, rice and beans, Chile Colorado, fried tilapia, nachos, Mexican pizza, fajitas and more.
