Which former North Alabama high school players are on NFL playoff rosters?

The NFL playoffs begin this weekend, and the teams competing for a chance at the Super Bowl title are packed with former Alabama high school players. In fact, 23 players from Alabama high schools are on the rosters of the 14 teams that made the playoffs this season.

Four of the 23 former Alabama high school football stars currently on NFL playoff team rosters are from schools in this part of the state:

  • Reed Blankenship, Philadelphia Eagles DB (West Limestone High School)
  • Dell Pettus, New England Patriots DB (Sparkman High School)
  • Nehemiah Pritchett, Seattle Seahawks DB (Jackson High School)
  • LaBryan Ray, DE, Carolina Panthers (James Clemens High School)

The NFL playoff schedule is as follows:

Saturday:

  • Panthers vs. Rams, 3:30PM (FOX)
  • Packers vs. Bears, 7PM (Amazon Prime)

Sunday:

  • Bills vs. Jaguars, 12PM (CBS)
  • 49ers vs. Eagles, 3:30PM (FOX)
  • Cargers vs. Patriots, 7PM (NBC)

Monday:

  • Texans vs. Steelers, 7PM (ESPN)
