Your ultimate guide to beating the heat in Huntsville

The National Weather Service in Huntsville predicts that afternoon heat indices will reach between 102-110 degrees throughout the week, and we know Huntsvillians are searching for ways to stay cool.

Here are the best ways we’ve beat the heat this summer:

Go to the movies

If you need to get out of the house, head to the movies for a break from the sun and sweat. The Barbenheimer hype has finally died down which gives you the perfect opportunity to hit the theaters.

Plus, this Sunday is National Theater Day which means tickets are $4 for one day only. Here are some Huntsville theaters where you can catch a $4 flick:

There’s nothing quite like swimming that makes summer feel like summer.

If your neighborhood pool has closed–or you didn’t have one in the first place–you’re in luck. There’s an app like Airbnb, called Swimply, that you can use to rent pools in the Huntsville area.
