Tailgate season has come and gone, but it’s always a good time for great wings. We’ve rounded up seven Huntsville spots where you can find the best, from classic sports bars to BBQ spots and even a tropical hideaway right downtown.

Read on for our roundup, and let us know who you’d add to the list.

1. Crickets Burgers & Wings

If you know, you know. This Madison sports bar is beloved for its no-frills take on classics like wings, burgers and more.

2. Moe’s BBQ

The smoked wings at Moe’s BBQ have been a favorite of mine since college. They’re served with a house dipping sauce that’s so deliciously creamy, you won’t even miss the ranch—take it from me. Make sure to get a slice of cornbread and some potato salad on the side.

3. MK Wings

4. Phat Sammy’s

The first option on this tropical-inspired bar’s menu is double-cooked wings. You can choose from one of three sauces: General Tso, PB & J, and spicy Vietnamese. Go for the wings (and other yummy eats) and stay for the inventive, tiki bar-style drinks.

5. West End Grill

West End Grill, near Bridge Street, has ten different wing flavors to choose from. Grab yours with a side of fried okra, mac + cheese or mashed potatoes + gravy—you can’t go wrong.

6. Touchdown Wings

If you’re in South Huntsville, don’t miss Touchdown Wings. Get 10 boneless wings for only $7.99 during the wing special, which you can catch Monday-Friday between 10:30AM and 3PM.

6. Tenders
