Holiday classes turn the wonderful time of the year into the craftiest time of year. From baking delicious cookies to making ornaments, there’s no shortage of ways to get creative at the holidays.

Check out these 10 classes in the Huntsville area that will help you find a creative holiday spirit.

1. Seasonal Sips: A craft cocktail class series

The Orion’s craft cocktail series for December focuses on fondue and winter warmers. Grab a friend and channel your inner mixologist at this informative cocktail workshop.

2. Make a Snow Globe at Snow Stroll

This activity at The Party Prep Co. sold out last year. Visit the shop during Mrs. Claus’ Snow Stroll at Stovehouse to build your own (plastic) snow globe.

3. Fresh Wreaths: What to grow + how to make them

Love the woody smell of Christmas trees? Add more to your holiday decor with a freshly-made wreath. At this class, the instructor will share which trees and shrubs to grow in your garden to create a unique wreath. All attendees will make and take home an 18″ wreath with materials sourced from the botanical garden.

4. Holiday Charcuterie Class

Graze Charcuterie Co. will teach you everything everything you need to know about building the perfect charcuterie board at this class. Bottomless mimosas are included.

5. Focaccia Holiday Bread Art Class

Head across the river to Decatur for this class with Chef Paul Naumcheff that will teach you how to make delicious focaccia bread. Make sure to bring your own apron and a sheet pan to this class.

6. Holiday Table Garlands Class

Use cypress, arborvitae and magnolia to handcraft beautiful holiday garlands. Each participant will leave with a 6 foot table garland made with materials from the Huntsville Botanical Garden.

7. Cookie Decorating Christmas Cooking Class

Learn all the tips and tricks to bake the best Christmas sugar cookies at this hands-on baking workshop. Holiday treats and drinks will be served.

8. Cookie Decorating Fun

This kid friendly cookie party is fun for the whole family. Come enjoy a full brunch then decorate cookies straight from the Brewers Cooperative kitchen.

9. Christmas Tree Paint Class

Unleash your inner Picasso and learn to paint this beautiful snowy Christmas tree landscape in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
