The first weekend of February is upon us, and we have plenty of cool weekend events to tell you about, from exhibits to sporting events to live music and more.

Check out these weekend events here in the Rocket City:

1. Alabama RV Show

All weekend, RV dealers and enthusiasts will be at he Von Braun Center South Hall for the Alabama RV Shoe. Don’t miss it!

2. Mardi Gras at MidCity

Celebrate Mardi Gras at The Camp all month long, with the kickoff to the month-long party starting at noon this Friday!

3. Anti-Valentine’s Final Friday at Stella’s

Whether you’re celebrating single life, gathering with friends, or just avoiding the love-struck clichés, Stella’s is the place to be for a night of fun, freedom, and no sappy romance.

4. Huntsville Havoc Hockey

Speaking of weekend events at the VBC, the Huntsville Havoc are in town hosting two games against Quad City. Friday night;s game is “Scoutdoors Night,” and Saturday night;s game is “Youth Jersey Night.”

5. Godfrey

Godfrey is one of the hottest and most versatile comedians on the circuit today. His hilarious one hour stand-up special “Regular Black” premiered on Showtime in August. This month, he can be seen recurring in Adult Swim’s “Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter.”

6. Theatre Huntsville presents ‘The Girl on the Train’

Step into a world of suspense, mystery, and unexpected twists with The Girl on the Train, the thrilling stage adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling novel and the hit DreamWorks film. Adapted by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel, this gripping production will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

7. Mustache the Band

Mustache delivers a powerful performance of all the country hits from the 90s. With over 140 songs under their buckles, you are guaranteed a non-stop party.

8. Hike at Bradford Creek Greenway

The greenway is paved and wide, so this is the perfect walk for strollers or young hikers. Jin this guided hike hosted by the Land Trust of North Alabama, taking a nice slow pace to see what the creekside has to offer.

9. UAH Basketball vs Trevecca Nazarene

The UAH women’s and men’s hoops teams are home this Saturday hosting Trevecca Nazerene for a basketball double-header. Women’s game starts at 2PM, followed by the men’s game.

10. Bone Zone (Green Day Tribute)

Whether you first fell in love with Dookie, shouted along to American Idiot, or walked your own Boulevard of Broken Dreams, this Green Day Tribute show is a must-see for every fan.

11. The Dating Game at Lowe Mill

Similar to the 70’s Game Show, this even will have one person that asks questions to 3 singles. Based on their answers the bachelor or bachelorette asking the questions will get to pick one person to go on a date with. Each winning couple will get tickets to our “Bloody Valentine” Dance on Feb 15th plus a fun pre-date prizes before the event.

12. Mardi Gras at the Garden

Celebrate Mardi Gras at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Enjoy a New Orleans-themed buffet dinner, cocktails and live jazz music by the 18-piece Moondust Big Band.
