This weekend in Huntsville is full of cool events (mostly holiday-related) to enjoy — everything from sporting events to live music and stand-up comedy.
You’re sure to find something fun to do among these suggestions:
1. Rocket City Christmas Light Show at Toyota Field
The Rocket City Christmas Light Show features nearly one million lights on display, complete with musical synchronization and a “Santa’s Beach Party” theme. After driving through the show, guests can walk inside the ballpark for the Winter Wonderland to experience holiday activities, hot beverages, fire pits, character appearances and visits from Santa Claus.

2. The Living Christmas Tree

3. 12 Nights of Santa

4. Come Closer: A Live Nativity

5. The Nightmare Before Christmas Costume Contest

6. Huntsville Havoc vs. Fayetteville Marksmen

7. The Nutcracker
You cannot celebrate the holiday season without seeing “The Nutcracker” at least once. Huntsville Ballet puts on one of the best performances of the classic ballet every year and is accompanied by the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.

8. Arts Huntsville’s Christkindlmarket
Arts Huntsville and The Orion Amphitheater have teamed up again for Huntsville’s Christkindlmarket. This unique shopping experience will feature over 60 artists showcasing a variety of mediums throughout Apollo South.

12. 14th Annual Sippin’ Cider Festival
