3 Beautiful historic districts to explore in Huntsville

Huntsville has grown in so many ways. There is so much new to explore, but what about the old?
Here are 3 Historic districts to enjoy while exploring Huntsville.
1. Twickenham Historic District
This district is a showcase of American architectural styles from 1814.
While exploring you can find a mix of Gothic, Greek, Italianate and many more home designs.
- Where: Twickenham
- Tip: Start at the NE corner of Madison St. and Williams Ave and then stroll around.
2. Old Town Historic District
This district contains houses that date from 1828.
These homes are mainly Victorian-style. Fun fact, it is the only Victorian Era neighborhood in Huntsville.
- Where: Old Town
- Tip: Start on East Clinton Avenue.
3. Five Points Historic District
This district takes us back to the 1920s. These homes have been modernized but still have so much historic beauty in them.
These homes are styles of Victorian, bungalow, Cape Cod, ranch, Queen Anne and Craftsman.
- Where: Five Points
- Tip: Start at Pratt Ave.
