It’s no secret that Huntsville is so much more than its growing city center. Huntsville is surrounded by smaller towns that have been crucial for building the greater Huntsville-area culture.
Look no further than Toney, an unincorporated community north of Huntsville. Initially, Toney may pale in comparison to the growing Huntsville city scene. However, if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, these 3 hidden gems in Toney make it worth checking out!
1. Madison Cross Roads Community Center
The Madison Cross Roads Community Center is a more recent addition to Toney, but it has provided many new activity options for the community. The building houses two basketball courts. These courts are great for practicing your shot, but they are often the site of fun pick-up games too!
There is also an upstairs walking track and a community meeting room. Additionally, a full-length football field and two soccer fields are right next to the building. Rec leagues practice on the fields from time to time, but otherwise they are typically open. If you need a new place for pick-up games or just want somewhere new to exercise, then Madison Cross Roads Community Center is the hidden gem for you!
