New businesses are opening up across the Rocket City. Here are a few businesses to keep your eye on, plus one that will close by the end of the week.

1. Edgars Bakery
Edgar’s Bakery + Cafe is a great place to get a little treat. They already have locations in South Huntsville and Providence, but they’ll add their newest edition to the roster on Wednesday, August 9 in Town Madison.

2. Trashy Dawg

3. Dry Goods
With almost 80 locations across the U.S. and counting, Dry Goods opened its first Alabama store at Bridge Street last week. Find it between Jos. A. Bank and Journeys for your last minute back-to-school shopping.

Closings
1. Bowler Hat Brewing
The news of Bowler Hat Brewing closing shocked our readers. Along with Salty Nut Brewery and Fractal Brewing closing, three Huntsville breweries have closed in the past month.
The last day to visit Bowler hat will be this Friday, August 11 before they shut their doors for good.
