Ditch fast food- 4 great local restaurants with drive-thrus

Today is National Drive-Thru Day!

Yes, that’s a real thing (today is also National Tequila Day), so to celebrate we’ve visited a few local restaurants that have drive-thrus for you to enjoy.

Bubby’s Diner

Bubby’s Diner is a retro 50’s-inspired diner with the modern convenience of a drive-thru for those in a rush.

They have breakfast-dinner options, but we recommend the hybrid donut burger.

Little Rosie’s

Little Rosie’s is another Huntsville staple and the subject of debate among Huntsvillians (do you like big or little Rosie’s?).

Their drive-thru is arguably the most aesthetic on this list, with colorful accents and a weathered look that makes it just as inviting as the rest of the restaurant.

Stanlieo’s Sub Villa

Stanlieo’s has been around for over 40 years slinging subs in Huntsville.

They actually have two locations in Huntsville, but the Governors Drive spot is the only one with a drive-thru.

Note: their drive-through has to be called in ahead of time.

Full Moon BBQ

While yes Full Moon is a chain, it got its start not too far from Huntsville in Birmingham.
